St Helen's

Also known as the Aviva or Commercial Union building, St Helens is a 118m box tower in the City of London. It was built in 1969 and was at the time the tallest building in the City. The tower was damaged by the 1993 Bishopsgate IRA bomb and had to be  entirely reclad and reglazed. In 2007, plans were floated to demolish the tower, however they fell through when the idiot who proposed the plans sold off a valuable stake in The Shard.
Despite being a 60's building, the only concrete in the tower is to be found in the core, and it has a very nice cladding of reflective glass, making it look very modern from the outside.
